Our amazing backyard!

Sponsored by the River of No Return Chapter of Trout Unlimited in partnership with the Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural and Educational Center, the summer camp is held on the grounds of the Sacajawea Center which provides a wonderful natural environment for learning. The 4-day camp is filled with a combination of scientific, historical and cultural sessions designed to showcase the unique attributes of the area we call home.

Friends, fun and fishing!

This is a get wet, get dirty, hands-on week of learning and growing. The daily sessions are led by professionals and volunteers who guide the kids in learning activities such as:

  • Water quality, aquatic insects, plant life,

  • Aquatic mammals, bird life, pollinators

  • Agai Deka and Shoshone-Bannock use of the land, history and culture

  • Lewis and Clark history

  • Fly casting and fly tying

When: June 17th - 20th

Where: Sacajewea Interpretive Cultural & Education Center, 2700 Main St Salmon, ID 83467

Age: 4th , 5th and 6th graders in the Fall of 2024

Cost: $50 per student. Scholarships are available
